New research conducted through independent laboratory testing shows how effective Fellowes air purifiers were in removing SARS-CoV2.

The results concluded AeraMax Pro AM3 and AM4 units were proven to remove 99.99% of an aerosolized concentration of SARS-CoV-2 through a single air pass test. These results build on previous research further demonstrating the effectiveness of Fellowes AeraMax Pro air purifiers.

Certified to Capture Coronavirus

We conducted testing to show how effective AeraMax Pro air purifiers were in removing coronavirus from the air. We did this by partnering with an independent and accredited laboratory to analyze the airborne reduction of an airborne coronavirus when using Fellowes AeraMax Pro Air Purifiers.

The outcome showed that Fellowes AeraMax Pro Air Purifiers were demonstrated to be effective in reducing aerosolized airborne concentration of Human Coronavirus 229E in a test chamber reaching 99.99% airborne reduction within 1 hour of operation.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Study

We conducted a comprehensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation in an average, six-stall women’s restroom. The study scenario included all six toilets flushing at once, continuously with all stall doors closed.

The red plume shown below indicates air with high level of contaminants.* CFD analysis demonstrated that AeraMax Pro was able to improve indoor air quality by capturing and diluting up to 63.7% of airborne contaminants.
